WESTFORD - Sandra Marie (Maloney) Carter, 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Roger H. Carter, with whom she would have shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with on September 30th of this year. She was born in Newton on November 13, 1965 and was a daughter of the late Nancy (Sullivan) and Wallace Maloney. Sandra was raised and educated in Newton and received her associates degree in business. She worked for Lotus Development/IBM for many years, where she met her husband. She and Roger owned and operated a pet store in the late 90’s. She was a stay at home mom with her children for many years and later told her family that those six years were the best of her life. She eventually went back to work for the local school systems. She worked for Westford Public Schools for many years as a secretary and then became a Data Specialist for the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District. Sandra’s greatest joy and top priority were always her children and her family. She was a wonderful mother, who dedicated her life to her children. She loved birds, all wildlife, her cats and rats, as well as simply being outdoors. She loved hiking the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine and enjoyed long days at the beach. You could often find her antiquing. In addition to her husband, Roger, Sandra is survived by her two children, Roger (Ben) and Lillian Carter; her brother, Michael Maloney and his wife, Lynette of Norton; her two sisters, Michelle Tagarellis and her husband, George of North Andover and Pamela Lyne and her husband, Gerald of Maine; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to Sandra’s Celebration of Life on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 11AM until 12:30PM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N Main Street, Westford. WESTFORD - Norman I. Lipsitz, of Westford, passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Norman married Kathleen (Valenti) Lipsitz of Barrington, RI, on April 23, 1977. The two shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, until her passing in 2021. He was born on September 12, 1947 and was the son of the late Charlotte (Brody) and Louis Lipsitz. Norman earned an associate’s degree in engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked in the field of surveying and project management for over four decades. His career included leadership roles at several prominent firms, including Bryant Associates (1980-1995) and Allen & Major Associates (2016–2025), as a Survey Department Manager. A lifelong New Englander, Norman had a deep passion for Boston sports—always cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins—and rarely missed a James Bond film. He is survived by his son, Bryan Lipsitz of Westford; his sister, Diane Titelbaum of Billerica: as well as many nieces and nephews. Per his wishes, no services or memorial will be held. Louise T. (Re) O’Donnell passed away peacefully at The Atrium Memory Care facility on September 19th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of over 56 years to Henry E. “Harry” O’Donnell and for over 13 years to her second great love Frank M. Bashore; devoted mother to Steve O’Donnell and his husband, Steve Abany of Boston, Brian O’Donnell and his wife, Sandra of Concord, Aileen O’Donnell of Methuen and Nancy O’Donnell of Burlington; proud grandmother to Sean and Laura O’Donnell and Christopher and Katelyn Ganshirt; great-grandmother to Sylvia O’Donnell; sister-in-law to John (Jack) O’Brien of North Attleboro and Rose O’Donnell of Westford; as well as many loved nieces and nephews. She was the sister to the late Mary (Re) Peretti, Joseph Re and Phillip Re and sister-in-law to the late John “Bud” O’Donnell, Ann O’Brien and William O’Donnell. Louise was born in Quincy, to the late Angelo and Antonina (Padrevita) Re. Raised and educated in Quincy, she graduated from Quincy High School in 1948 and then attended the Fay School in Boston. After graduation, she joined the Westinghouse Company, where she met and married Harry. She became a homemaker and mother until her youngest child went to school, then rejoined the workplace as a real estate broker. Louise later worked for Digital Equipment Corporation for 12 years, her last role as a manager in their Management Education Group before she retired. After living and raising her family in Burlington, Massachusetts for 35 years, she and her husband Harry moved to the Village at Stone Ridge in Westford in 2002. She was active doing work for the Village, writing and later editing their newsletter. With husband Frank, she got to travel extensively in the US and Europe, having many memorable trips. She enjoyed travel, socializing, reading, puzzles, being with family and friends and taking care of the people around her. Most of all, Louise was devoted to her family, children and grandchildren and always expressed her love of all of those around her. Westminster - Sandra S. “Sandy” (Cayford) Auger, 83, died at home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Armand J. Auger, Jr., with whom she was married to for 64 years. She married Armand in 1961 and had four children; Cheryl A. St. Hilaire, Dean A. Auger, Crystal C. Auger and Cynthia A. Beaubien. She will be deeply missed. Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Beulah V. (Edwards) and Frederick C. Cayford. Sandy graduated from high school with the class of 1960 from Westford Academy. Upon graduating, she worked for Raytheon, Lexington, J.M.
